WIND WOLVES PRESERVE
WILDLIFE AND WILDFLOWERS SAFARI

SBW wind wolves.jpg
  • Wind Wolves Preserve is the largest nonprofit nature reserve on the West Coast
  • Private 4-hour wildlife safari for up to 6 people
  • Get up close and personal with herd of tule elk, spy a condor soaring overhead, and maybe even see elusive San Joaquin kit foxes, bobcats, and other wildlife

Located two hours north of Ojai along the foothills of the San Emigdio Mountains and adjacent to the Los Padres National Forest, Wind Wolves is the west coast's largest nonproft preserve, at 93,000 acres. It is an ecologically unique region where the Transverse Ranges, Coast Ranges, Sierra Nevada, western Mojave Desert and San Joaquin Valley converge. Due to elevation ranging from 640 to 6,005 feet, the preserve has an impressive array of landforms and habitats that serve as a critical landscape linkage and wildlife corridor. During the springtime, the preserve teems with beautiful wildflowers and rare plants. Explore the Wind Wolves Preserve with your own privately guided wildlife tour for 2-6 people. Your tour will include wildlife sightings, natural history, Native American history, and so much more! The tour vehicle has an air conditioning and heating system, for the comfort of riders. Tours can be scheduled at any time of day. They're best during the early morning to maximize wildlife sightings, but the late afternoon and early evenings provide good opportunities to view the wildlife as well.

Based on availability of Wind Wolves Staff. Two-week advance reservation required. Must be used before June 2018.

The Bryan Titus Trio

SBW Bryan Titus Trio photo hi res.JPG

"rootsy, gutsy American music -- rock ‘n roll, gospel, country, blues & bluegrass...all stewing in the same pot."

Singer-songwriter Bryan Titus brings his unique blend of bluegrass roots music and folk/country rock to Santa Barbara WILD! The Bryan Titus Trio also features Jeff Kranzler on upright bass and Dustin Janson on cajón and vocals. Their iconic Americana sound is populated by good-time upbeat songs that recall an earlier era with a modern storytelling approach that keeps it fresh. Titus, a Boston Berklee College of Music graduate, relocated to Santa Barbara two years ago, and met bandmates at local open mics. They've been performing regularly at Santa Barbara favorite hot spots and all up and down the coast, ever since. Recent highlights include opening at the Lobero Theater for legendary British guitar hero Albert Lee, and the May 2017 release of their CD, "Bryan Titus Trio."
